Artist Statement examples and worksheets. By the end of class today you should have a draft attached to your blog as a separate button. Once you have composed your own artist statement in a google doc, then go to the "layout" in Blogger, click "add gadget", and finally click to add a "text box". Copy your text into that box, then save, and it will add the gadget to your blog.
Answer these questions to help you:
What kind of work am I doing?
How am I doing it?
Why am I doing it?
What influences me most?
How does my art relate to the art of my contemporaries (or, in your case, your classmates)?
What do I want other people to understand about my art/photography?
Am I unwilling to discuss any aspects of my work? If so, why?
What direction could I see my work moving in the future?
